Schwabing is (one of) the most multilayered district(s) in Munich. Its small streets are dominated by art nouveau style buildings. At the “Ludwigstraße“, you can also admire the splendid architecture of 19th-century royal Munich. Behind this street, the modern city awaits you: a huge variety of restaurants, cinemas and shops. Famous museums like the Pinakothek of Modern Arts and the New and Old Pinakothek can also be found in Schwabing.
